
Nikolay Sorensen made his first ever hole in one at Legion Memorial Golf Course on the par 3, hole # 16 from 141 yards using a 7 iron. Sorensen has been playing golf for 16 years. The hole in one was made on Wednesday, March 10th. Sorensen and playing partners are pictured above (from left to right) Ted McBride, Nikolay Sorensen, Bill Brady and Frank Brady. Other March hole in ones at Legion Memorial: Ben Schrock (Tuesday, 3/9/10) on hole #13 from 200 yards with a driver. It was Ben’s first in 22 years of playing golf. Stephen Jones also made a hole in one (Thursday, 3/11/10) on the par 3 16th. He used a 9 iron from 141 yards and it was his first in 37 years of golfing. Were the cups bigger that week!
